Here is another trend, one that can easily be seen by many as a positive one. Here we are talking about the low ABV alcohol in Dubai. It is a trend that many companies have been trying to push and is one that could do our bodies good as well Perhaps you are thinking about buying alcohol in Dubai whilst holidaying in UAE. Maybe you are considering the what wine in Dubai is on offer in your local shop. Hopefully, you can find the liquor that best suits what you want for the given occasion. Whatever the situation it can be interesting to study the current global trends when it comes to drinking. Perhaps one of the major changes has been the increasing use of cans to serve our drinks in. Canned wine is now the norm, but was a much rarer occurrence a few years back. So why the shift? Well, the ‘ready to drink’ set up has become more popular for one thing. Plus, from a practical viewpoint, cans are lighter and easy to take around with you then the glass options, and of course less breakable should an accident occur (less dangerous as a result). Whilst craft beer still sells well, those in the know have commented on a slow down of sorts and it seems that many think this may continue as a trend into 2020. According to the Brewers Association, craft beer sales which up until recently were experiencing double-digit growth, have slowed to increase around 4-5% in the last couple of years.  Tequila, on the other hand, has seen a sales increase. This category was up 7.9% in the U.S. according to the Beverage Information and Insights Group. Interestingly, the growth comes mainly from higher-end options. It looks like we can expect to see a more increased premium range of tequilas in our favourite liquor establishments.  You may well have spotted this trend, and you may even partake yourself, as mentioned in the craft beer paragraph, ready to drink beverages are on the increase hence why there are more cans about. But this is not just restricted to craft beers. One difference is that people used to associate the idea with ready to drink concoctions with the cheap, sugary offering. But this is not the case as much, no doubt helped by the craft movement. Now on offer are all sorts of cocktails and wines, resulting in this category of liquor consumption growing in double digits. It is not an exaggeration to say there has been an explosion in RTD sales, and experts predict we will continue to see the growth into 2020. Maybe part of the growth of this trend is because of consumers desire for the next step in convenience, having the option to cut out doing the mixing stage themselves. Maybe the value aspect is another cause. Here is another trend, one that can easily be seen by many as a positive one. Here we are talking about the low ABV alcohol in Dubai. It is a trend that many companies have been trying to push and is one that could do our bodies good as well. More than ever you can discover a strong range of cocktails, wines and beers with a lower ABV count. In an effort to take a share of the ‘healthier’ market of the liquor industry it is not just companies rushing to provide drinks with a lower ABV. No, it is also products that contain fewer carbs, calories and sugar content too. Many of the well-established brands offer an alternative version that can contain any or all of the above. It is fair to say that the alcohol industry is an ever-changing one. As well as seeing the current trends we have briefly explored above reaching their next natural stage, there is always a chance that 2020 will produce some unexpected brands, products and trends.
